The fourth public meeting on hearing awareness was conducted on the 1st of July 2014 at Bright Bravo hotel Kurunegala.

Medcon Hearing Care Center - MHCC celebrated its Annual Avurudhu Uthsavaya at the Gatambe Grounds, Kandy on the 9th of April 2014. The event is specially organised for our Medel implanted children in Sri Lanka. The Avurudhu Uthsavaya brings close all our implanted clients and children and gives them the opportunity to express themselves, show their talents and enjoy the cultural activities organised by us.

The World thinnest Cochlear implant (Concerto by MED-EL) was introduced to Sri Lanka for the first time on the 13th of March 2014. The surgery was performed by Dr.S.B.Etulgama at Srimavo Bandaranayake Specialised Children Hospital, Peradeniya.

The third public meeting on hearing awareness was conducted on the 25th of January 2013 at Sasakawa Hall, Colombo 03.
